This eclectic program shows the vast possibilities of the seminal chamber form. Poulenc’s Sonata for Horn, Trumpet, and Trombone is a charming work overflowing with striking rhythms and elegant wit. While Dahl's concerto is more expressive and intellectual. And lastly, Schumann’s first piano trio is a rich Romantic classic.
