Just heard the Debussy Trio and Schubert "Trout" - great job everyone! Especially nice to hear, essentially for the first time, Tantian Lan, viola, Colleen McElroy, flute and Julia Pope, cello. What great players we have in our orchestra. Also wonderful to become better acquainted with the Debussy, as with the Beethoven "Harp" quartet - yet more discovery these concerts offer. Certainly preferred this piano to the one Del used for the "Moonlight" sonata. Courageous tempo Del in the octave variation of the Schubert! Musicians have great powers of concentration but these players credit for being undisturbed by both a camera person and a dancer wandering among them. The dancer did a lot of lovely work in the Debussy.
