A dedication for those lost and hope for the future.
As the coronavirus pandemic continues to impact our lives across America, we dedicate RACHMANINOFF & DVOŘÁK to all those who have experienced the loss of a loved one due to the pandemic.
The concert features two contrasting works that are a perfect metaphor for our current experiences – Rachmaninoff’s Trio élégiaque is a hauntingly beautiful lament for his mentor Tchaikovsky and is paired with Dvořák’s lively “American” string quartet that embodies the resilience of the American spirit.
